16/9 1977 T-Rex singer Marc Bolan's girlfriend, artist Gloria Jones, drove into a fence on their way home from a night out in London. It went so badly that Gloria Jones broke her jaw and unfortunately, Marc Bolan died. He was only 29 years old.
