11/6 1977 Joe Strummer and Topper Headon were arrested and had to spend the night in jail in Newcastle. This after they failed to appear at Morpeth Magistrates on May 21. Where the two Clash members would answer the charges in connection with a theft of a Holiday Inn pillow case. They were fined £100 each.
