5/10 1954 Birth of Bob Geldof, singer of The Boomtown Rats, who had the single "I Don't Like Mondays" at the top of the UK Singles Chart in 1979. Later, Geldof became a solo artist, and was also the one who arranged both Live Aid in 1985 and Live8 in 2005 for the benefit of charity.
