15/6 1989 Nirvana's debut album "Bleach" was released in the USA. They got the album title from a poster that urged drug addicts to clean their needles with the slogan "Bleach Your Works". Kurt Cobain claimed that most of the lyrics on the album were written the night before recording, when he was in a bad mood, and that he did not consider them too good.
