MELKBELLY: Nothing Valley

10/12 1967 Otis Redding and his band were traveling by plane to that night's concert in Madison, when the plane crashed into the icy waters of Lake Monoma near Madison. Redding died in the crash along with The Bar-Kays members Jimmy King, Ron Caldwell, Phalin Jones and Carl Cunningham. Trumpeter Ben Cauley was the only person to survive.
